Buying a home without an inspection is scary

But there is a way to protect your interests and still get the best offer.

  • First 
The market is very competitive, so acting fast is the key to success. As soon as you find a property you like, plan the visit with your agent. If you do decide this is the property for you early on, you’ll have plenty of time to complete the next, key step.
  • Second
With your agent, create a window of time with your inspector and your agent for another showing, and have an inspection for informational purposes only. This is called a pre-inspection. It won’t show up on your contract, but you’ll know what you might have to deal with before making an offer. You will be able to make a conscious decision whether to buy, and for how much.
